Hey guys, quick question, Which version of Zmod is best for PTTM? I'm looking through my old files and have found at least 4 different versions, possibly more. Remember something about it constantly updating, then having to use plugins or download another version to try modding Haulin' (Which didn't happen, long story for another day). What would you guys recommend? The versions I have are: 2.06 2.08 2.09 2.1.1 Any help would be appreciated. Quite possible that each version is exactly the same..... Penguin

ok here's Dog's opinion. or rather my I still have, and use Zmod V1.0. As far as PTTM goes here's where I stand. The latest version I have is 2.1.1. I have 2.04, 2.06, 2.08, 2.09 as well. I USE 2.06 RELIGIOUSLY for pttm. it's all I'll use. Here's why. 2.09 has a bug with pttm. It WILL occasionally mess up your light nodes. it will "flip" the axis'. meaning you set a taillight to shine "rearward". export, load game, and no taillight? wtf!? turn the trailer round and you'll see it shining the wrong way. I've also had issues with interiors this way. So I stick with 2.06. Again just my

Thank you very much for the responses there folks.
I think I'm going to use 2.0.6. I remember having trouble with light nodes in the past, so I think I'll stick with this.

Some time ago when i edited a truck (with my version 2.2.2) i flipped my back lights and brake lights 180 degreees before exporting but they were facing forward in game after that lol. I suppose the bug was fixed in some of the newer versions? I havent really been annoyed by the bug since it takes about 10 seconds to flip the nodes.

I was able to find 2.01, but if 2.06 is better, is there some place I can find it, legally? I'm not interested in pirated software, and I don't have the money to buy it, but if I understand correctly, 2.06 was before the developer started charging for it. If 2.01 will work with PttM and/or AA, that's fine. I'll start trying to learn what I have. Edit 1: Do I need any plugins for 2.01? If so, where can I find them?

I believe 2.0.1 is the only free version. If you want any newer "legally" you must buy the license. Even though sharing games illegally is strictly forbidden on all the community forums, i never really understood why the same rules dont apply for software. Take for example one admin on TruckPol who has uploaded zmod 2.0.9 or 2.1.1 or maybe both on his filefront. Not only are they breaking they're own rules but also the PB ToS and the law But you dont need any plugins for pttm no matter what version of zmod 2 you're using.
