in this tutorial on adding Virtual Memory..
!!! NOTE !!! before I begin I take no responsibility to any damage done to your PC before & After following the instructions or any action taken by yourself...
Getting fed up with your PTTM game crashing after installing a cool mod and then after the crash you open the prism3d.log to see at the bottom of it...
*** ERROR *** [mm] unable to get an empty memory block...
this is due to low Virtual Memory set on your hard drive...
setting the Virtual Memory higher will allow your programs and Games run smoother at higher Res Details and with more Mods added....
now here are 3 Youtube videos showing you how to add Virtual Memory to XP, Vista, Windows7 very easy to follow...
BUT !! if you are unsure of anything of what you are doing then PLEASE Write Down, take Screen Shots of the settings before you change the set settings and save.. so if anything seems to run different and makes you uneasy you can follow the same steps and change the settings back to original set settings..

Adding Virtual Memory to Windows 7:
I run Windows 7 64BIT, 3.0 GHz CPU, Nvidia GeForce 9200 chipset GPU, 12Gigs Ram, and I thought I would not have a problem running PTTM and the Amount of mods I can throw into it...I was wrong and then went searching on a solution... i found this solution fix posted for other TruckSim games and I figured well has to work for PTTM... so I tried it, and it was the fix I needed to end the Memory Block error...
here is a screen shot of my PTTM in-game server memory usage:
NOW still in doubt a little? then open your PTTM game and start a new game.. when the game loads press the tidal key ~ and look at what your server memory usage says.. 1024kB huh?
when you set the new values on your virtual memory settings please only set to recommended lowest & max settings it should tell you when you are to that point
Good Luck & happy Truckin
