So after a bit of googling i came across a 3rd party program designed for old OpenGL games like Quake, etc. I actually found a download and decided to give it a shot. Here are the very first pictures on what im talking about. Note that im using the Rig'n'Roll map with the "always day time" sun file so no night pics yet. And obviously i didnt touch any of the settings yet. There are settings that include multisampling, anistropy, bloom, ambient occlusion, hue, saturation, lightness, depth of field, emboss and so on. And all of these have settings for specific values to adjust appropriately for another game. So this is basically like ENB Series for OpenGL games. And note that these are with the default settings and looks funny. But it gives you an idea on what this can do. And no, this isnt a late april fools prank and the image isnt edited in any way. Think ill be spending the rest of the day fooling with the settings.

Ok. I've messed around a good bit with the settings. Its a real pain in the ass to get even half decent settings. But the outcome is pretty cool really.

Thanks. Its called QeffectsGL. Im gonna do a few more tweaks to make it more realistic. Bloom seems to be a bit difficult to get right. It "burns" all the white parts like you can see on my truck. Once its starting to look alright im gonna put it up for download here.
