This is a (from scratch) add-on, for PTTM, by Taurus Bros. Drop right into your "My Documents", and roll on. All game default loads were used in this economy. We plan to add on from here, as we go. Trailers we add in the future, will replace existing, and or, come with designated loads, and acting origins and depots, based on the setting we have here now. From Scratch, from the floor up. **If you have custom trailers and loads, it is up to you to add from here, or, wait for our updates...... The economy was totally reworked, in what I call, "Economy in peril". The ports are wide open, and the country has to ship out all it can, to try and rescue the world, from certain fiscal collapse.....lol. I raised the load spawn count, by an average of two fold across the board, and no more is there always a (dead depot), doing nothing. Every company is shipping out, in rapid speed!! That is where we will start this hair brained idea anyway. Some changes will come along the way, but nothing so major, it would create a huge game problem. Remember to always back up your current folder, before adding anything, and once you change anything, your saved games are null and void. Last point, you want to make money quick, cheat enough to buy ten trucks, with ten drivers, and give it five hours.... it will roll in like a flood. Made by: Taurus Bros. Economy in Peril Add-On.

Next on the block, hopefully to be ready for next weekend release. I noticed a couple of mistakes, (post) release with the first economy installment, so the fix for that is on the way, along with a few more goodies. The PTTM world isn't fairing too good so far. Flu has broken out across the country, and the bodies are piling up at the hospitals. Rumors are already mounting, about drivers seeing "Martial-Law" signs, making their ways from peer box, to cross docks, it's getting crazy out there. If you think your a driver that can hack it, the rewards are out there, despite a debased currency, that is losing value by the day..... Rumor also has it that the gold reserves were raided by the military, as a safe keeping measure, in the collapsing PTTM world. The reserves were loaded on ten unmarked trailers, and set out on the highway, for the hardest target, is the moving target. This load PAYS! if you find it, and deliver it in one piece, but it comes in heavy!, so be sure that tractor can handle the stresses...... Almost too much to keep up with, and we're just getting started, lets see what next week brings. **Tuesday morning coffee table press release..... In the mist of all the decline the PTTM world seems to face, a mighty investor has stepped up, to update the long (dull) visual properties, of the general PTTM environment. Roads are getting ripped up, and buildings are getting face-lifts left and right, even that dog ugly ghetto fence got replaced finally.... Other investors have found interest as well, talks of complete building revamps, and out right reconstruction talks, are getting Hot! (*Not talking about a new map, we are talking about a Complete (default) update). Actually (Topdog) dove in head first, and just started replacing shader images with actual images from the net, and it appears he has a real good eye for it. I happened to stumble on a ton of free building models, from city planning sites, everything from a rotted out old cabin, to a double tower, modernized banker sky-scraper, even new service buildings, and full truck hangers. Even the trees look better, just by updating their surroundings..... I'll get a few teaser pics posted sometime today, it really is looking good. We out!!! Attachments:

It took awhile, but we finally got the texture swap down to a science. What you are looking at is the small stuff, most have ignored in the past. Curbs, sidewalks, railings, static buildings, windows, etc. It's going to be a huge W.I.P., so time will be the biggest issue, but we are hard headed in getting this done, it was a fragment of an idea ten years ago. With that said, enjoy, stay tuned, and watch out. Over here, it's all about a lot more, then a working show truck in screen-shots...... This project is credited to "Topdog" much more to come......

Ok...... after several game crashes, and a laptop going down in flames (not literally, but damn near), we are still squeaking along somehow.....lol.
Now, we took on several updates at once, and this reminded us we need structure over like a hole in the head, like last week. I'm going to set up a dedicated download section, for the downloads. My image posting and senseless typing can be moved back to discussions, with a link to where screen shots can be found, and all that mess.
If you have used our (Economy in Peril) download, try and leave a review if you want. Good or bad, doesn't matter, we just need a general direction from here, if it's going to be our way with this, or what the users call for, etc. Over all that was a small test, but at this point, I can do about anything with the economy, within certain limitations of course. What I plan to do for an over all offering, is a better working, "more toward realism" like economy, and I have one about 90% done, that lacks a couple trailers and drivers, but that has to stay on the back burner for now. As I mentioned before, we are pretty much going block by block on the default map, and revamping the looks and feel there too. As we all know, this comes with serious limitations, especially when we get into the general "stretch to fit" common building models, that wear out the same damn shaders..... This takes some heavy lifting to fix, but it isn't impossible, and it can look really good, without taxing the poly limits in world models....(jap's repack solution) We will get it done, every which way but loose.
Ok, enough of my crap. This weekend I'm pulling away from the game, and focusing on our download threads, they are lacking I know..... we have a monster truck on flatbed trailer, and a (Hayes) logger combo from (Extreme Trucker), that (BlackAce) helped bring over, back when this place was active. We have a cattle trailer we put our own spin to, one I use in my personal running, but I'll offer it up anyway. We have files we re-skinned the game world with, subtle, but you'll notice. I have a music folder playlist, of various "GTA" radio stations, I'll offer up too. Lastly, if I can squeeze it in, I'm going to start making a mirror thread here, of (Dieseldog's) site, where his stuff has images that go with. I'm not blaming him, but it gets nerve racking for me to say the least. He keeps some great additions there, and they deserve to be at least seen in my opinion. We will in time get out some very nice tractors, that came over from other games. This is the move, that isn't as easy as one would think, especially when it comes to attracting "drama"..... We will get past that hurdle though, and that is where I'll leave that.

A test run, with some new software I picked up. This should make previewing our world remake a bit easier in the future. ok, decided to do some rooster strutting. lol. The vid features a 4300 international, I pulled out of the shed after ten years. Still runs decent too.
