agreed. take your time man. this is no Kentucky derby. good work takes time. and as outlaw stated, breaks too. or else you either burn out, or get fed up. my moddin is limited to the weekends, and if I can get alittle time during the week. I'll jot ideas all day long, but the serious stuff only on the weekends

Thanks you fellas. I did a bit of work tonight but want some opinions. Do you think I should make the panels around the tail lights chrome or leave as is??

Agreed. I know me & outlaw feel your pain. sat for 6 hours with a blown brake chamber, and now gotta boogey! lol Anywho back on track, errmmm, skateboard. that's a matter of opinion, and taste. when I get to those "blocks" here's what I try. I try it black, chrome, and aluminum. see what looks best against thee rest of the trailer. easiest way is to separate the panels for now, and set it to black.mat. see how it looks, then chrome, then alum. if it's not ingame yet use zmod's built in colors. again make a sep part temporarily, and "create" a new material for just that part. use the pallete to select black, then a gray, then as close to chrome as possible. if you need help on how to do that lemme know. or load a gta, or mafia, car into zmod and click the red ball. you'll see what I mean p.s. sorry for the long post. hope that (kinda) helped Also aluminum on aluminum won't quite "mesh" typically, in reality, theyre either black or chrome.

Thanks topdog. I'll try each and see what I think "works" so to speak.

yea that's the best really. is how you think it looks best. again myself, and outlaw agree that either black or chrome is correct. so it's just a matter of what looks good against the finished color scheme

Mmm, when you have different parts joining together a bit of colour difference, even just two different kinds of metals, can make the model look complete. But as always, the best trick is to backup and test out.

Although, whatever floats your boat man. I'm still shell shocked with a Mack I got from (3dartpol).... those pipes could snag a 757 in a good stride.....

Just been lazy about putting them in my game. Also, after that warning from Outlaw, I don't want wheels that smell like dead people
